Tales tales

Inspired by the Burlesque scene of the 1920's, The Maison Rouge is an old fashioned brothel and place of recreation and erotic entertainment for gentlemen (and ladies) of discerning tastes. We are a friendly bunch, who love to chat and RP and aim always to provide a warm welcome to our visitors, whether they wish to buy a girl or not.
We like to think of ourselves as more than just a run of the mill brothel or sex hang out and we hold regular events such as live music, burlesque acts and even a quiz night. So come on in and join our select but friendly little group, you will be glad you did :)

The weekly round up
Sunday is here again, which means it is time for me to struggle through the fog of my hangover in an attempt to bring you all of the news, gossip and strange goings on from the whorehouse this week.
Monday saw the formation of our new VIP group which we have set up to reward our most loyal customers. Many clubs in sl use the VIP tag to denote the most basic membership, but here at the Rouge, we believe the title should actually mean something. VIP status is by invitation only and is accorded based on three factors:
1: The length of time a guest has been coming to the club
2: Their RP and interaction within the club
3: Financial contributions paid in the form of tips and donations.
VIPs at the Maison Rouge can enjoy a number of benefits including invitations to VIP only events, parties and themed orgies, as well as periodic discount promotions on our services.
Fancy yourself as a VIP? Then contact lillith Tempest inworld for more information xxx
Apologies to those of you who turned up on Thursday expecting to hear a set from regular performer, Nadine Morani. Unfortunately Nadine had some technical difficulties this week, which meant she could not perform. Despite this hiccup, we ended up having a fabulous time and it was a great chance for us to get to know some of Nadine's fans a little better - not as respectable as you like to make out are you? *winks*
Highlight of the evening for me had to be winning the shirt off the back of Nadine's manager, Mr Oh, in a game of strip poker and seeing the usually composed Sir Dis running around in just his underpants. A big thank you goes out to Mr Oh for keeping us all amused with his DJing skills and to Seven for her top notch hostessing which made everyone feel so welcome.
Nadine's concert has now been rescheduled for Monday 11th July @ 1pm slt.
For those of you who have never heard the wonderful and talented Nadine in action, check out the video below to find out just how special this singer is and why we love having her play at the Maison Rouge:
Things took a turn for the bizarre this week when the club was invaded by a group of aliens whose ship crash landed in the courtyard outside. Though they did their best to assimilate themselves into their environment and mingle with the other guests, it was the "little" things that gave them away; such as their avid inspection of the human form coupled with their frequent references to anal probing. The fact that they also turned out to be French aroused suspicions still further.

The Aliens Have Landed
Several of the girls feared for the sanctity of their bottoms and cows everywhere were seen to shift uncomfortable in their fields. Luckily the aliens showed a weakness to human alcohol (which they consumed in large quantities) and it was not long before they were laid out comatose on the floor. The girls made short work of informing the authorities and their inebriated and unconscious bodies were soon sold off to medical science at a nice tidy profit for the club. We now await a visit from the Men in Black with some trepidation
And that is it for this week. Hope to see you all inworld very soon, and I shall leave you with some pretty pictures from Friday's masked ball. Have a good weekend xxxx

Madame's weekly round up of news, events and gossip
Taps the microphone.
“Is this thing on?”
Stands back giving a delicate little cough before proceeding:
Greetings friends, followers and fellow pixel pervs to our spanking new blog. Here we hope to bring you all the latest news, events and gossip from Second Life’s Premier Whorehouse and entertainment venue: The Maison Rouge Burlesque Brothel. If, as is frequently the case, nothing of much interest happens, I expect we shall just make something up.
In the news this week:
We have added a strip poker table to our VIP room and will be commencing strip poker nights just as soon as we work out how to use it. We had originally wanted to convert the VIP room into a casino; however we soon discovered that gambling is prohibited in Second life. Even typing the words: “casino” “poker” or “roulette” into search results in a trite little pop up message informing you that you have contravened sl community standards. This, of course, led to one of my frequent rants about sl morality and hypocrisy, however I think Suzi summed it up best when she said “Weird. You can fuck a horse in sl, but you can’t bet on how fast it runs!”
Wednesday’s quiz night once again proved enlightening as resident quizmaster Sir Dis posed questions on some of life’s many imponderables. As well as questions on France, romance and music, there was the ever popular “down in the gutter” round where we discovered that that acomoclitics prefer their pussies bald (a case for the RSPCA maybe?) and that ideal location to take taphephiliac on a date would be a graveyard. Sometimes I wonder how I made it this far in life without ever knowing such crucial information; next time my boyfriend throws me over a tombstone and gets the clippers out I shall know why!
More revelations were forthcoming on Friday when we held our first ever masked ball. During this event our guests were “unmasked” by a series of deep, probing, analytical questions, designed to lay bare the very workings of their souls such as: “If you were a type of cheese, what type of cheese would you be and why?” OK, so it was just a bit of fun and the answers ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous, but were illuminating nevertheless. We are hoping to run this as a weekly event, so watch this space for more details.
Finally, I would like to thank our fabulous friends at Blue Moon Burlesque Cabaret Theatre for performing their show “A short and bawdy history of burlesque”. The girls were wonderful and host Naiki once again proved that dogs can’t tell jokes. It took hours to clean all the rotten fruit and tomatoes from the stage after his stand-up section. Thanks also to William Weaver (aka paperwork resident) for his fantastic pictures from the event, some of which are attached below. To see more of Williams work, check out his flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/61900109@N02/sets/
And that is it for this week. Stay tuned for details of next week’s events and we hope to see you in world very soon.
Take care, and have a wonderful weekend.
Love from Madame lillith and the girls xxxxx
